Kari Westlund

President & CEO

Kari is a tourism industry leader, adept in strategic destination marketing and organizational management. She has led Travel Lane County since 1996, navigating significant changes in travel trends, technology and community growth. Kari contributes to many local and state committees and currently serves on the board of the U.S. Travel Association. As the leading authority on the Eugene, Cascades & Coast visitor industry, she is the official spokesperson for Travel Lane County.

Andy Vobora

Vice President of Stakeholder Relations

Andy oversees all local media communications, press releases and external reports. He is the primary community liaison for regional government, business and community groups. As a spokesperson for Travel Lane County, Andy specializes in relationship building, industry advocacy and community education.

Stephen Hoshaw

Public Relations & Social Media Manager

Stephen works directly with state, regional and national media to provide destination information and support. He hosts incoming media, bloggers and influencers to facilitate media coverage of regional attractions, events and businesses. He oversees strategic social media promotion of the Eugene, Cascades & Coast destination.

Meg Trendler

Tourism Sales Manager

Meg provides support for travel trade, independent international visitors and the film/video industry. She coordinates tours, develops group itineraries, offers resources for international travelers, scouts film locations and assists with permit information. Meg also hosts media and is an excellent culinary and local history resource.
