Steve Mital accepts the award on behalf of the University of Oregon Office of Sustainability
On June 11th, Travel Lane County awarded the 2013 Convention Leadership Award to the University of Oregon for being the first U.S. university to host the prestigious International Sustainable Campus Network Symposium. Steve Mital, Director of Sustainability at the UO, was instrumental in bringing the event to Eugene, coordinating the program and showcasing the region’s sustainable assets.
