Valley Grazing Tour

Traveling from the East over the Santiam Pass to Eugene for the Governor’s Conference? Let the McKenzie River guide you to wild fields and foods along the way.

  • Freshen up along the way with a stop at McKenzie General Store. Enjoy local seasonal bites, gourmet lunches and of course, coffee.

  • Make a stop at Organic Redneck Growers (check hours before heading out). This farm stand offers an array of farm fresh produce and seasonal u-pick opportunities.

  • McKenzie River Lavender products are available all year for purchase at the farm. A visit to the farm in early spring provides an opportunity to see the plants in their growth spurt leading to summer bloom.  Already the foliage aroma is developing. Learn about the care of the plants and the many beneficial uses of lavender.

  • Need more fuel before landing in Eugene? Stop for coffee and delicious pastries at 100 Mile Bakery in Springfield, where ingredients are sourced within 100 miles.
