John Rezell is Executive Editor of SportsEvents Magazine and has worked in sports journalism for more than 20 years. Rezell was a sportswriter for the Dubuque Telegraph Herald and The Orange County Register, editor of VeloNews magazine and an outdoor columnist for The Register-Guard in Eugene.

Ken GoeKen Goe – Sportswriter, The Oregonian

Ken is a native of Denver and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in 1976. He started at The Oregonian in 1977. Has spent his career primarily covering college athletics and Olympic sports. College football and basketball beginning in 1984, track & field off and on from 1988 to the present. Ken also had the opportunity to cover the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. He is married with four children and three grand-children.

Carolyn PriceCarolyn Price – Founder/Publisher, OutdoorsNW magazine 

From ripping out event registration forms in magazines, to the dot-com bust, to the “print is dead” myth, Carolyn has successfully published OutdoorsNW magazine for the past 30 years. Armed with a BA in Journalism from Western Washington University, Carolyn became the first women’s sports editor of a newspaper in Washington State at the Lynden Tribune in 1977. She combined her passions of writing and sports into her career dream, founding OutdoorsNW in Seattle in 1988. Today, OutdoorsNW is the Northwest’s largest and best source of outdoor recreational news, events and information. Carolyn will share her knowledge of how to get your event in print for free, and also how to promote your event as a must-do in the best outdoor community in the nation.
