Horseback Riding

Enjoy horseback riding along rushing rivers, through lush green forests, over shifting sand dunes or across wide open beaches at sunset. Magnificent horse trails crisscross the Eugene, Cascades & Coast region, making this a natural horseback riding destination. Local ranches offer guided horseback tours, riding lessons, kids' pony rides and birthday party packages.

Every July, the Eugene Pro Rodeo is held at the Oregon Horse Center. In 2012, The Back Country Horsemen of Oregon hosted their national board meeting here. These volunteer trail stewards preserve the beautiful riding trails and protect equestrian interests.

Triple Rise Equestrian Center offers horseback riding lessons and training for hunters and jumpers in their beautiful facility. Summer camps for children are also available. The Eugene Pony Club for young riders has group rides, classes and shows.

From corral rides to all day mountain trail excursions, all skill levels can explore Oregon by horseback.
