Pedaling for Pinot

Pinot Noir wine tours are a great way to savor the South Willamette Valley. Make it all the more magical by touring on bike! Cycling across Oregon wine country involves all the senses-- breathing the freshly scented air, feeling the warm sun or misty rain, hearing the birds sing, soaking up the view and rewarding yourself with a taste of Oregon's award winning pinots.

Just south of Eugene, the countryside is ideal for bike rides. Cruise over gentle rolling hills and through the lush green valleys dotted with picturesque vineyards and orchards. Discover small towns, charming tasting rooms and farm to fork dining. Seasonally, many wineries host outdoor concerts on weekend evenings.

We've mapped out a cycling route along low-traffic roads that passes six wineries on two meandering loops, each approximately 50 miles. All levels of cyclists can enjoy this wine trail by cycling at their own pace, shortening the ride to one loop if preferred, or stretching the ride out over a weekend by staying at a B&B or resort along the way. Please ride safely and don't pedal under the influence- its against the law.

To get started, use the interactive map below for directions and more information about the wineries, cycling and lodging along this wine trail.
