Florence, OR — It's time to celebrate the Heceta Lightstation's 123rd birthday, so mark your calendar and head to the coast for a free family event from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017. Join Travel Lane County staff as we celebrate with live music, food, games, a raffle to support Lighthouse restoration and refreshments.  Tours of the keeper's home and the lighthouse will be offered and the gift shop will be open and offering amazing souvenirs, books and videos. Parking is $5 in the Heceta Head Lighthouse Scenic Viewpoint and NW Adventures Quest will provide a free shuttle to the Keeper's home.

Bring your camera and take family photo on the front porch as the liighthouse shines in the background!  Opening in 1894 the Heceta Head Lighthouse can be seen 21 nautical miles off the Oregon coast!
