Eugene, OR – The Eugene, Cascades & Coast Sports Commission has launched the 2019-2020 Sports Planner guide. The purpose of the digital guide is to assist sports event planners and organizers who are considering hosting a sporting event in Lane County

The Sports Planner guide provides detailed information on sports facilities and their amenities, housing services and group lodging options, transportation, dining and notable things to do around the county.

The sectional grid layouts make detailed information on sports facilities and hotel properties available at-a-glance. A "Map of Accommodations" can help sports planners see how the properties are clustered throughout the county. Restaurants with banquet space are listed with seating capacity, making it easy for sports planners to get a concept of the spaces that are available.

Professional services provided to sports planners by the Eugene, Cascades & Coast Sports Commission are also highlighted. Services include connecting planners with local vendors and assisting with permits, volunteers, officials, awards, media, printing services, marketing and more.

The guide also includes recommendations for how to host a responsible sporting event that acknowledges the social benefits impacting the community and economy, while reducing its environmental impact.

The Sports Planner guide can be found at www.EugeneCascadesCoastSports.org/sports-planner-guide, along with additional information about the Eugene, Cascades & Coast Sports Commission.
