Light Up Downtown with the Oregon Duck

Eugene, Ore. - Ready for the holidays? Join in Duck Downtown this Friday for a tree lighting with Mayor Kitty Piercy and the Oregon Duck. Joining in with the City of Eugene, this free family friendly event will also include live music, the Eugene Symphony's "instrument petty zoo," and an appearance by the University of Oregon Cheer Squad.

WHAT:           Light Up Downtown and final Duck Downtown of the Season

WHEN:           November 20, 5:15 - 6:30

WHERE:         East Park Blocks, East 8th and Oak Street

FEATURING: Live musical performances by the Sheldon High Dublinaires, UO's Mind the Gap, Eugene Concert Choir and Elvis

Appearances by the Oregon Duck, the UO Cheer Squad, Eugene Mayor Kitty Piercy

The Eugene Symphony's "instrument petting zoo"

FREE LTD BUS SERVICE: As part of Duck Downtown bus service to and from downtown Eugene will be free after 5 p.m. on Friday November 20th.
