Travel Lane County Welcomes New Adventure Specialist to Downtown Visitor Information Center
Eugene, Ore. - Travel Lane County has announced the hire of Trisha Barlow who will serve as the new Adventure Specialist for the association's downtown visitor information center in Eugene.
Barlow's main responsibilities will include assisting visitors with trip planning to and within the Lane County region. She will also manage the fulfillment of visitor requests and track the inventory of visitor brochures and guides distributed through the downtown center. Additionally, she will oversee the association's calendar of events designed for use by the traveling public, media, industry partners and local residents.
Barlow has an extensive background in creating and managing administrative systems, database management, overseeing information technology (IT) upgrades, as well as retail sales and merchandising.
Travel Lane County is a private, nonprofit association dedicated to economic
development through visitor spending. In 2013 visitors to Lane County generated
more than $575.7 million in spending for Lane County's economy and supported
8,510 jobs.
