Cottage Grove Welcomes the Bohemian Film Festival |
Cottage Grove, Ore. - How often do you have the opportunity to be part of a world record attempt, screen over 50 films, view a parade featuring original Animal House cast members and the "Deathmobile," listen to Otis Day, the Original Knights, the Kingsmen, and party with thousands? Noon - ANIMAL HOUSE TOGA PARADE! Featuring the DEATHMOBILE 5 p.m. - Beer, Wine & Food Garden 7 p.m. - Music Concert and TOGA PARTY! The 3-day Film Festival will kick-off with an invitation-only, hosted Filmmakers Reception on Thursday evening, August 16, when the winner of the $3,000 GRAND PRIZE will be announced. The small town of Cottage Grove, population 10,000, has twice been selected as an All America City, and held the record for the world’s largest Toga Party until 2012, when two universities in Brisbane, Australia assembled 3,700 togo-clad participants. Let's bring back the Guinness Record for the “World’s Largest Toga Party” and have a blast at the same time. There also will be a fly-in of private planes. All films selected to be shown at the festival will receive an “Official Selection” certificate to recognize their screening at the festival.
