Cottage Grove, Ore. - How often do you have the opportunity to be part of a world record attempt, screen over 50 films, view a parade featuring original Animal House cast members and the "Deathmobile," listen to Otis Day, the Original Knights, the Kingsmen, and party with thousands?

On August 17-19, you can experience these activities and more in Cottage Grove, Oregon as the 40th Anniversary of National Lampoon's Animal House activities intersect with the Bohemian Film Festival.

The 3-day Film Festival will kick-off with an invitation-only, hosted Filmmakers Reception on Thursday evening, August 16, when the winner of the $3,000 GRAND PRIZE will be announced.

The small town of Cottage Grove, population 10,000, has twice been selected as an All America City, and held the record for the world’s largest Toga Party until 2012, when two universities in Brisbane, Australia assembled 3,700 togo-clad participants. There also will be a fly-in of private planes. Hotel rooms are selling fast so get your reservation in early. For travel assistance, check with Travel Lane County, and the Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce.

All films selected to be shown at the festival will receive an “Official Selection” certificate to recognize their screening at the festival.
