Top 100 Ranking TRAVEL LANE COUNTY MEMBERS RECOGNIZED
Eugene, Ore. - Travel Lane County's 600+ members create memorable experiences for millions of visitors each year, which translates annually into over $600 million in direct visitor spending and many return visits. "It may be news to first time visitors to the Old Town Inn or the River House Inn, but for those of us familiar with what Craig Sanders, president of Hoagland Properties, has done with these Florence properties, it's no surprise at all. These are quality facilities that offer guests a fantastic experience. Their staff is responsive and professional, so it's no wonder their customer reviews landed them in Oregon Business Magazine's 100 Best Fan Favorite Destinations," noted Travel Lane County President/CEO Kari Westlund. Congratulations to Hoagland Properties, Hoagland president Craig Sanders and all the staff at the Old Town Inn and the River House Inn in Florence for being recognized in Oregon Business Magazine's Best 100 Fan Favorite Destinations in Oregon. For the record, there were approximately 9,000 Oregon tourism destinations that were analyzed and 22,000 online reviews used to create the Best 100 list!
How does one achieve such accolades? Well, each property received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2016. This makes five in a row for The Old Town Inn and six for The River House Inn. The TripAdvisor 2015 Travelers’ Choice Survey put The Old Town Inn at #11 for “Best Bargain Hotels in the United States” and in 2013 Hoagland Properties invested $750,000 in improvements, showing once again that maintaining infrastructure is recognized by guests!
