Travel Lane County Announces Kids' Adventure Club - Horses!

Springfield, Ore. - Saddle up! On Saturday, April 25, the Eugene, Cascades & Coast Adventure Center invites kids and their families to learn all the ways they can be involved with horses from top professionals across Lane County.

Geared toward families of elementary school-aged children, the Kids' Adventure Club - Horses! Edition will feature activities from nationally famous horse competitors and organizations such as Triple Rise Equestrian Center and unique local businesses like Territorial Bed & Breakfast & Barn.

What: Topics and activities of the day include:
• Riding disciplines and where to ride
• Horseshoeing demonstration! Watch a farrier shoe a horse
• Meet a miniature horse
• Caring for a horse
• Hands-on tack displays
• Where to find horse and rider lessons
Where: Adventure Center 3312 Gateway St, Springfield
When: Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. - Noon
