Travel Lane County Invites Arts Patrons to "Show Your Ticket & Save"

Published: October 22, 2015
Eugene, Ore. - From restaurants and breweries to wine bars and coffee houses, 15 local businesses are offering special discounts to patrons of the Hult Center resident companies through the Show your Ticket & Save program.

Running through December 31, 2015, this new offering is an added value for lovers of the performing arts, and an opportunity for local businesses to show their support of the vibrant arts community in Eugene. Qualifying tickets include those to Hult Center performances from the Eugene Ballet Company, Ballet Fantastique, the Eugene Concert Choir and the Eugene Symphony.

"The Show Your Ticket & Save program provides a great opportunity to support local businesses as an added value to our Symphony ticket," says Dr. Matt McLaughlin, Eugene Symphony Board Member and Owner at Oakmont Family Dental. "You can make Symphony night a complete date night with deals on dinner or drinks beforehand. We are thankful to the downtown restaurants for partnering with the Eugene Symphony to offer our patrons the opportunity to partake in community-wide collaborations of art, culture and business."

Deals at supporting restaurants are valid for four days before and four days after the ticket date, so patrons can combine deals to fit any itinerary.

"Whether it's dinner before a show, breakfast the day after, or lunch a few days later, this program offers one more reason to explore downtown Eugene," says Natalie Inouye, Vice President of Tourism Marketing for Travel Lane County. "Now visitors and locals can support the arts and receive deals at the same time!"

The next opportunity to show your ticket and save will be the Eugene Ballet Company performances of The Sleeping Beauty on Saturday October 24 and Sunday October 25.

The complete list of supported performances is as follows:
• October 24, 25 - Sleeping Beauty from the Eugene Ballet Company
• November 12 - From the New World from the Eugene Symphony
• December 3 - American Spectacular from the Eugene Symphony
• December 6 - A Dickens of a Christmas from the Eugene Concert Choir
• December 11 - Yo-Yo Ma from the Eugene Symphony
• December 11, 12, 13 - An American Christmas Carol from Ballet Fantastique
