Travel Lane County's New Tourism Coordinator

Melanie Griffin Joins Tourism Team

Eugene, Ore - Melanie Griffin brings a rich and diverse educational and work background to her new role as Tourism Coordinator for Travel Lane County. As owner of a photography and video production business, Melanie brings unique expertise to her role as tourism coordinator.

As part of the tourism marketing team, Melanie will be responsible for developing and distributing the organization's consumer enewsletter, assisting with story development pitches for regional media, assisting with social media strategies, supporting visitor services and more.  

Melanie graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in Anthropology. Her coursework included work in the cinema studies department and she studied three languages. Her work history includes working as a legal assistant, working in the UO Brain Development Lab and interning with an advertising and marketing firm.
