Tru by Hilton Opens in Glenwood

Springfield, OR -  Al and Tina Patel have added a third lodging property to their successful pair of hotels on Franklin Boulevard in Glenwood. The Tru by Hilton welcomes visitors to its 86-room facility on August 4, 2020 and joins the Fairfield Inn & Suites (81 rooms) and the Candlewood Suites (87 rooms) to create a vibrant cluster of hotels serving the Eugene-Springfield travel market. Alko Hotels also owns and operates the Comfort Suites - Eugene and the University Inn & Suites in Eugene.

Tru provides a unique, young and hip Hilton hotel and is new brand to the Eugene-Springfield area. The first floor will feature a lobby with drinks and snacks, pool tables, board games, play zones and more. Located off I-5, Tru is close to various hiking and biking trails, is minutes from parks in Springfield and Eugene, has views of the Willamette River and is only minutes from University of Oregon's iconic Hayward Field, Matthew Knight Arena, and Autzen Stadium. Local shopping and dining is accessible by car, bicycle and public transportation and includes the newly expanded 5th Street Public Market, as well as the vibrant food and beverage scenes in downtown Eugene and downtown Springfield.
