Visitor Industry Awards

Who was Honored at the Travel Lane County Visitor Industry Celebration?

Eugene, Ore - Travel Lane County honored a host of individuals and organizations that make the Eugene, Cascades & Coast region a premiere destination for visitors and a fantastic place for those of us who call it home.  

The 2018 Visitor Industry Celebration, presented by InnSight Hotel Management Group and Summit Bank, was hosted at The John G. Shedd Institute for the Arts and celebrated Lane County's and Oregon's Film History. Travel Lane County President & CEO Kari Westlund updated attendees on the status of projects changing the landscape of our county, while Director of Oregon Film, Tim Williams, provided a riveting overview of our film and television history.

2018 Community Leadership Award
Presented to a group, business or individual that has significantly contributed to the Eugene, Cascades & Coast region's tourism industry or visitor experience through an advocacy program(s), visitor product(s), or community development.

2018 Convention Leadership Award

Presented to a local resident(s) or business that is directly responsible for the confirmation of a meeting or event, which brings in a significant number of overnight visitors to Lane County.

2018 Sports Leadership Award
Presented to a local resident(s) or business that is directly responsible for the confirmation of a sports event, which brings in a significant number of overnight visitors to Lane County.

2018 Destination Award 
Presented to a business or individual who, through their efforts, have excelled in promoting the community and the Eugene, Cascades & Coast as a visitor destination.
