Pre & Post Wedding Activities

Bridal Shower or Bridesmaids Luncheon

  • Nothing is more classic than tea at the Campbell House or dessert at the Excelsior Inn. Both of these romantically-appointed venues offer the perfect atmosphere for bridal showers, especially with the mother of the bride in attendance.
  • Need a kid-friendly venue? Roaring Rapids Pizza Company in Springfield has a one-of-a-kind location on the Willamette River with a beautiful outdoor garden patio. The lodge-like restaurant features a spacious dining room, a private banquet room and a large old-style carousel.
  • Planning a co-ed shower? Choose a comfortable brewery atmosphere to put the guys at ease.
  • Arrange lunch at a nearby winery like Sweet Cheeks or King Estate. Both offer indoor and outdoor seating and gorgeous views of Oregon's wine country.

Bachelor or Bachelorette Party

  • Typical bachelor or bachelorette parties head to the bars and nightclubs. Downtown Eugene offers a wide variety of hot spots for a night out. For a collegiate scene check out  Taylor's Bar & Grille on the University of Oregon campus.
  • Class it up with a limousine tour of Oregon's famous wine country! With over a dozen wineries right outside of Eugene, this is convenient and fun! Hit multiple wineries and win prizes with Pinot Bingo! Coordinate your last tasting with one of the wineries' seasonal outdoor concerts. Pack a picnic or have the winery cater a spread for your group.
  • Do a pub crawl around Eugene on a multi-person bike with Pacific Pub Cycle. Oregon's craft beer culture has produced many award winning brews that any avid beer drinker would appreciate. The Eugene Ale Trail is a great guide to Eugene's craft beer scene.
  • Spend a hot summer day whitewater rafting on the McKenzie River with your wedding party. End the day by staying at a nearby McKenzie River lodge or cabin.
  • For more adventurous groups, spend the day among the Douglas Firs. Climb 280 feet into an old-growth tree with the Pacific Tree Climbing Institute.
  • Go sandboarding or dune buggy riding in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area in Florence.
  • Want a relaxing experience? Soak in the hot springs swimming pools at Belknap Hot Springs Resort.
  • Does your night call for some mystery and adventure? Spend the evening trying to escape from one of the puzzle rooms at Dare Escape & Adventure Rooms.

Rehearsal Dinner

  • Cater your rehearsal dinner at the ceremony site or in a casual setting at a nearby restaurant.

Send-Off Breakfast/Brunch

  • The morning after the ceremony, send the bride and groom off on their honeymoon with breakfast or brunch with the wedding party.
