Abbelone Vineyard"Abbelone" was Kristian Ferry's mother's fist name. She passed away the year he and his wife Angela started a small 300 plant vineyard, so they named it in her honor. The property, purchased in 2002, was the former Christensen Brothers Ranch for horses. Its warm, sunny slopes turned out to be perfect for the vines, which thrived. They now have over 5,000 plants. Kristian, surgical oncologist, is a self-taught winemaker. He consults with Sineann Winery in St. Paul, Oregon and fellow local winemakers. He and Angela manage the vineyard with a commitment to sustainable and biodynamic practices. They make their wine in the traditional Burgundian style - with an emphasis on individuality.

  • Located just off Fox Hollow Road, Abbelone Vineyard is close to many natural open spaces like the Hult City Park, the Ridgeline Trails and Spencer Butte
  • Across from the vineyard, the Cascade Raptor Center rehabilitates injured birds of prey in a beautiful forested setting open to the public
  • Saginaw Vineyard in Cottage Grove is just south of Eugene.
