Mill Race Path

This 3-mile paved path for walking and cycling connects downtown Springfield to the 4-mile Middle Fork Path, creating a network of trails that reach from Dorris Ranch to the west and Clearwater Park to the east. Visitors walk or bike through wetlands along the restored Springfield millrace, a waterway dug by city founders in the 1850s to power early industry. Trailheads, picnic areas and restrooms are located at the Booth-Kelly Center, 307 S 5th St, and at 3202 Jasper Rd, just south of Agnes Stewart Middle School.
