Originally from Eugene, and a University of Oregon graduate, Samara began her tourism career as Visitor Services Coordinator for Travel Lane County in 2007. Her role evolved to Director of Visitor Services and then to Director of Stakeholder Relations. In 2015, she joined Clackamas County Tourism and in 2019 was named Executive Director of Clackamas County Tourism promoting the Mount Hood Territory region. She holds a VisitAble Disability Inclusion Certificate and is a graduate of both the Oregon Tourism Leadership Academy and the Chinook Institute for Civic Leadership. She has been active within her community and serves as the President of Nearby Nature.

Emily leads strategy execution and community alignment for the organization, working closely with the President & CEO to keep day-to-day work connected to long-term priorities. She oversees creative services, digital platforms and membership and partnerships, and serves as the internal lead on implementing the Destination Master Plan across Lane County's communities.

Liz is responsible for the financial and administrative oversight of Travel Lane County. She oversees day-to-day operational systems, human resources and adherence to organizational guidelines and policy.

J.B. leads the convention, sports and travel trade sales and services program, driving overnight visitation through strategic market development and a high-performing team. He oversees the full sales pipeline from prospecting to booking and works to ensure events succeed from advance planning through on-site execution.

Stephen leads the marketing team, setting strategy across paid, owned and earned channels to drive visitation and build trust in the Eugene, Cascades & Coast brand. He oversees the organization's marketing and communications functions and works closely with the sales and services team to align efforts across the full visitor journey.

Megan leads membership growth and partner engagement, connecting members to programs, events and opportunities that strengthen the visitor economy. She builds relationships with partners across Lane County and leads the organization's member events, including the annual Visitor Industry Celebration.

Haley supports the membership program by managing billing, benefit fulfillment and partner data. She keeps member records accurate in the CRM and helps produce weekly email communications.

Melanie is the brand manager and leads the creative services team. She directs photo and video production from concept through delivery and manages the organization's creative asset library.

Taj leads website content strategy, making sure the site tells the story of Lane County through high-quality, compelling content. She owns the content management system, manages search engine optimization and analyzes website performance to guide what comes next.

Georgia coordinates internal platforms and cross-team projects, helping the team work efficiently and effectively in support of marketing the Eugene, Cascades & Coast region.

Philis develops and executes marketing strategy that advances convention, sports and travel trade sales efforts. She works closely with the sales and services team to bring their priorities to life through planner-facing marketing and helps ensure visiting event attendees and spectators have a welcoming experience.

Julia leads demand generation, developing campaigns that drive awareness, interest and visitation across the full visitor journey. She oversees the destination's consumer-facing digital platforms and makes sure destination marketing represents the full county, including its rural communities and demand drivers.

Clarissa leads visitor services and facility operations, making sure visitors have a high-quality experience starting with their first stop at the Visitor Center. She oversees the Eugene, Cascades & Coast Visitor Center along with day-to-day operations for the office and its systems.

Heidi develops and secures convention business that drives overnight visitation. She manages the full sales process from prospecting to booking and builds strategic relationships with hotels and hospitality partners across the destination.

Alayna supports sales efforts to acquire new sports events to Lane County as well as provides services to these events to help enable their success. She works to increase the economic benefit and community partnership of sport in Lane County.

Fiona develops and maintains relationships with meeting planners, tour operators, and travel industry partners; generating new business opportunities, marketing regional attractions and experiences, and connecting clients with local venues, accommodations, and tourism resources to support successful events and travel programs.

Cass helps provide essential support to the Sales & Services team by managing data, research, event logistics and administrative tasks. She helps to deliver exceptional experiences for event owners, meeting planners, partners and visitors.

Kyle provides visitor information on hotels, dining and things to do in the Eugene, Cascades & Coast region. He is knowledgeable about hiking, camping and outdoor destinations. He also assists with the local event calendar.

Eli guides visitors to hotels, dining and things to do in the Eugene, Cascades & Coast region. He specializes in the University of Oregon and its athletics, downtown dining and live music. He produces photography and editorial content for the organization, and assists with permit sales and the event calendar.
