Craft Beer & Cider
Oregon beer has garnered national recognition with sustainable brewing, award-winning craft brews, distinctively cool microbreweries and burgeoning gastropubs. Throughout the region, beer aficionados appreciate the variety of beer from international selections to home brews poured at local sports bars, breweries, beer gardens, bottleshops, taphouses and growler fill stations.
House-crafted hard ciders are also catching on at local breweries, as brewers add cider to their tap line-ups. Eugene's popular Wildcraft Cider Works utilizes Oregon fruit and botanicals to make unpasteurized hard ciders without any artificial flavorings, sulfites or added sweeteners. Wildcraft hosts a community apple drive each fall, accepting fallen and unwanted apples, pears and plums from residential backyards in exchange for a share of community-made juice or cider.

The Eugene Ale Trail
Many breweries are clustered together, so it's easy to pub crawl — like in the Whiteaker neighborhood, the Westside Warehouse District or downtown Eugene.
Well-known breweries include Ninkasi, Hop Valley and McMenamins. But we also encourage you to discover some of the smaller outlaying brewers like Jerry's Place Bar & Grill featuring What'cha Brewing (Florence) and the 3 Legged Crane Pub and Brewhouse (Oakridge).
