Hot Springs

Experience the rejuvenating power of Oregon's natural hot springs as you soak in the calming mineral water.

Along Highway 58, just past Oakridge, are the easily accessible McCredie Hot Springs. Relax in the shallow water as Salt Creek rushes by on its way to the Willamette River. Caution is urged as the springs can be very hot, even when there is snow. Clothing is optional in these pools.

On the banks of the McKenzie River off Highway 126, bathe at the Belknap Hot Springs Resort. This manicured retreat offers two spring-fed swimming pools complete with the spa environment, gardens and hiking paths, dining and overnight lodging from RV and campsites to lodge rooms and private cabins. Day-trippers can use the lower pool for a nominal fee. Bathing attire is required.

Along the McKenzie River (Hwy 126) discover Terwilliger (Cougar) Hot Springs. Six tranquil pools draw crowds of visitors year round.
