Breaking Ground - New Hotel Properties Come to Eugene

We are always looking towards the innovative and exciting developments that are happening in the local hospitality industry. It is always our pleasure to welcome a new property and brand to the area, giving our visitors more offerings to choose from and a variety of choices to fit their every need. In development to open in the next year are three, new to the area, brand hotels that are sure to surprise and delight visitors for years to come.

Fairfield Inn

Located on Franklin Blvd near the University of Oregon, this Marriott branded hotel is expected to open Summer 2017. This property features 81 guestrooms and suites with four stories, an indoor/outdoor pool, complimentary breakfast and a modern beautiful open lobby. The rooms will be spacious and modern with large 40" flat screen TV and work area with flexible ergonomic desk & chair.

Hyatt Place

Located on the top 3 floors of a new building coming to the Oakway Center, Hyatt Place will have 124 rooms. Featuring roomier rooms, a 24-hour fitness facility, breakfast service and a bar, this location will be an excellent place to stay. With meeting facilities this property will also add to the available meeting locations in the Eugene -Springfield area. The Hyatt Place will be in close proximity to some of the finest shopping in the area and easily accessible from north and south via Interstate 5. Slated to open in 2017.

Home2 Suites by Hilton

A new brand, HOME2 - Suites by Hilton Downtown University District is an extended stay hotel soon to grace the heart of downtown Eugene. This 120, all suite, hotel will bring its philosophy of sustainability and community involvement to Eugene. Targeted to open October 2016, they will have meeting facilities, an indoor saline pool, full kitchen in each suite, an outdoor lounge with fire-pit and a patio area with BBQ grills. With out-of-this-world dining and abundant shopping experiences nearby, the Home2 Suites by Hilton will give its visitors a great way to see and experience the city like a local. Great for the business traveler and the university visitor, it will provide all the comforts of home without the stress.

EVEN Hotel

EVEN Hotels is InterContinental Hotel Group's newest lifestyle hotel brand, created with wellness at its core and designed to help travelers Eat Well, Rest Easy, Keep Active and Accomplish More. Slated to open in 2017, this 100 room hotel will be located near the University of Oregon providing ease of access to all who stay there. The hotel will feature Athletic Studios; calming relaxation zones to unwind; flexible work spaces to stay productive or host impromptu meetings; and guest rooms featuring eucalyptus linens, a color changing mood light and the In-Room Training Zone. The proximity of the hotel to the University and Downtown Eugene will make this innovative hotel feel right at home.
