Alton Baker Canoe Canal

Access is via Alton Baker Park with an adjacent trail that runs early the entire length. The canal, effectively a side channel of the river, is stocked with rainbow trout and an occasional steelhead makes its way in from the mainstream Willamette. A midpoint pond offers good fishing, rounding out this popular location. From Alton Baker Park, head east on the Ruth Bascom Bike Path for .2 miles, the canoe canal will be on your right.
