Winter Shoulder Season Marketing Support

In 2024, visitors spent $1.1 billion in Lane County — but winter remains our biggest opportunity for growth. Travel Lane County is tackling seasonality through strategic destination marketing campaigns in key visitor markets including Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Sacramento and Los Angeles. Our winter marketing efforts span paid advertising, earned media and owned print and digital channels, all focused on inspiring overnight stays from November through March.

$500 Marketing Rebate Program

To strengthen our collective impact during the winter shoulder season, Travel Lane County is offering a marketing rebate that provides 100% reimbursement (up to $500) for member businesses investing in advertising that reaches our priority target markets between November 1, 2025 and March 1, 2026. We encourage you to apply early, as rebates are available until the program fund is fully allocated. This program supports individual business marketing efforts while amplifying our regional destination marketing strategy.
