This 4.6 mile (7.4 km) looped trail around Clear Lake is a perfect mountain biking experience featuring views of lava fields, old-growth, and the start of the McKenzie River. Rated as easy to moderate, the front half offers beginners an excellent adventure, while the back side of the loop weaves through lava fields and adds a technical element for more advanced riders. The back half of the loop is also part of the world-class 26 mile (41.8km) long McKenzie River Trail.
