Situated next to the Willamette River, Delta Ponds is a unique and valuable open space within an urban setting. This 150 acre (61 ha) ecosystem has become a favorite spot for bird watching, fishing and walking. The Delta Ponds is home to over 120 bird species. Look for pond regulars like Gradwall, Wood Duck, Green-winged Teal and Great Blue Heron in the swamping marshes, and overhead for Bald Eagle, Osprey and Peregrine Falcon.
