The Gold Lake Area is perfect for viewing native wildlife such as elk, deer, beaver and various species of birds. Twenty-one sites for tents and RVs lay adjacent to Gold Lake, which provides ample opportunity for non-motorized water activities such as canoeing and paddle-boarding. The campground offers hand-pumped water and vault toilets while the day-use area has a log shelter; no RV hookups. Open late June through late October.
