Goodpasture Covered Bridge
Vida OR 97489
The Goodpasture Covered Bridge, the second longest covered bridge in Oregon, is one of the most photographed covered bridges in the state. Built in 1938, it was named for the pioneer Goodpasture family who settled in Vida. The structure is 165 feet (50 m) long and boasts superb gothic architectural detailing. Today many tourists gather to see the Christmas decorations that routinely adorn the bridge during the Christmas season. The bridge is located off the scenic Highway 126 after you pass the Leaburg dam and Ike's Pizza heading eastbound or soon after passing Everyone's Market heading westbound.
