Just north of Florence, this popular trail offers vistas of the graceful Cape Creek Bridge and beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. The easy one mile (1.6 km) trail begins at the north end of the Devil’s Elbow State Park and climbs .3 miles (.5 km) through dense forest and a spruce grove to an old road.
Halfway to the lighthouse is the assistant lighthouse keeper's house, which was converted into a bed and breakfast. The lighthouse sits 225 ft (69 m) above sea level with offers great views of the Pacific coastline as well as bird and wildlife viewing. There is no access to the inside of the lighthouse. There is a large parking area, restroom facilities and a day-use fee station at the base of the lighthouse trail. DAY-USE FEE/RECREATION PASS REQUIRED.
