  • Address:
Hwy 126, 2 miles west of the McKenzie Ranger Station
    Blue River OR 97413
  • Phone:

The site is temporarily closed as of 8/20/2018 due to the Terwilliger Fire. This 4.1 mi (6.5 km) singletrack trail is arduous with some switchbacks and rocky climbs. The trail connects with USFS Trail #3506 - Castle Rock. The ride up to the summit is worth the work. Bike through dense, 600 year Douglas-fir forest on an unused logging road. Views of the Three Sisters Mountains. Directions: From HWY 126 turn on to McKenzie Scenic Road. After entering Rainbow, Or drive across the covered bridge and turn left. Then follow signs for the trailhead. Park at King Castle trailhead.
