Salt Creek Falls Trail #3673 is an easy .5 mile (,8 km) hike with a wheelchair accessible observation point to view Salt Creek Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in Lane County. From the observation point the trail drops steeply into the canyon, ending near the base of the waterfall. Diamond Creek Falls Trail #3598 also starts at the Salt Creek Falls Observation Site. The park facilities close in winter but it's great for snowshoeing and the falls are dramatic when encrusted by ice. Approximately 23 miles (37 km) south of Oakridge. DAY-USE FEE/RECREATION PASS REQUIRED.
