Eugene, OR - As leisure travel expands in the coming weeks we encourage all residents and visitors to:
- Plan ahead and make reservations whenever possible
- Be patient with employees who continue to adjust to masking guidelines
- Recognize that many businesses are short staffed and are working hard to provide you a great experience
As COVID vaccination rates have increased and restrictions lessened, Travel Lane County is prepared to reopen its visitor center. Over the Memorial Day weekend, staff will welcome residents and visitors who want to connect to great experiences in our region. Locally and Oregon-made retail items are available for purchase and a full range of recreational permits are available.
Visitor center hours will be 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Friday, May 28 and 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and on Memorial Day.
