Eugene, OR – Ohio State football fans will arrive in the Eugene, Cascades & Coast region this week as the Buckeyes and the University of Oregon Ducks square off in a battle of top 5 teams — a first for Autzen Stadium.

Buckeye fans will be arriving early or staying after the game to explore our amazing region and Travel Lane County encourages residents to roll out the welcome mat. "We have an opportunity to show our guests why we believe Oregon, and our region specifically, has the greatest outdoor adventures, amazing arts and cultural programs, and award-winning food & beverage scene and so much more," noted Andy Vobora, Vice President of Stakeholder Relations at Travel Lane County.

Residents are accustomed to game day traffic and should plan ahead for Saturday afternoon, but that doesn't mean stay home. Go out and support your favorite local business and welcome a Buckeye or two. Reservations, where accepted, are a good idea on weekends that involve teams that travel well.
