Ciders & Spirits

House-crafted hard ciders have made a comeback with many local breweries adding cider in their tap line-ups. Dedicated cideries are also popping up, fuelled by the increasing interest in gluten-free diets, locovore dining and hard cider's fresh flavors.

Thinking Tree Spirits Drinks by Meg TrendlerCraft distilleries are also en-vogue, coinciding with the evolution of bartenders into mixologists. Local cocktails often include exciting nuances from homemade bitters and liqueurs to in-house juicing. In Eugene, the Whiteaker neighborhood and the Westside Warehouse District are home to micro distilleries, cider houses and whisky bars.
