Members of Travel Lane County have begun participating in a new member benefit: a digital savings pass that encourages visitors to spend time and money with our member businesses.
Travel Lane County is partnering with Bandwango, a mobile savings pass platform, to promote discounts and offers at shops, restaurants and attractions throughout the region. Passes work via any browser and are easy to save to a smartphone home screen. Passholders don’t need to download any extra apps or worry about losing a printed pass.
This savings pass program is a tangible incentive to increase visitor visits to our member businesses, and part of a greater strategy to inspire people to explore the Lane County region.
Currently we are offering two mobile passes: Explore AND Score (which covers the entire county), and the Downtown Eugene Savings Pass (focusing exclusively on downtown businesses in partnership with the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce).
We promote the passes to our visitors in-market through materials at the Eugene, Cascades & Coast Visitor Center, at welcome tables for conferences, and at large events like The Prefontaine Classic, Bohemia Mining Days, Coburg Antique Festival, Springfield Block Party and more.
Starting in June, we are launching a social media ad campaign to send visitors to the Explore AND Score landing page to sign up for this pass! Make sure your business is included, as there is no cost for our members to participate.
What are examples of savings? Down to Earth is offering 20% off any one item, Amplify Wellness is promoting $10 off a single session, The Shedd Institute is offering $5 off dinner for show attendees and High Street Tonics is offering $2 off any one menu drink. These are all great offers!
