TrackTown USA, aka Eugene, Oregon, was a long shot to host the world's biggest track and field meet, but after receiving the bid in 2015 it was finally time in 2022 for the athletes, coaches, federations, officials, volunteers, sponsors and fans to fill the stands in the reimagined Hayward Field. Eugene, Lane County and the State of Oregon came through with flying colors. Rather than regale you with lines and lines of text, Travel Lane County is assembling a series of slides highlighting many of the key metrics that surrounded this epic event. This compilation is not intended to tell the whole story. World Athletics will issue a final report and many other partners contributed to making the event a success. Those partners, like communities up and down I-5, have their own data and stories to share. Click the link below to get started.
