Fun Family Restaurants

Take the kids to a family-friendly restaurant that has a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere; delicious and good food; and is more affordable.

Mo's Restaurant

Florence, Oregon

This large, bustling restaurant on the docks above the Siuslaw River is an ideal family gathering spot. Picture windows over the river, picnic tables, plastic baskets with paper liners for dishes and plenty of tasty fried fish will please any picky eaters. Order up warm bowls of clam chowder and watch for seals trying to steal the dock-side crabbers bait. Mo's Restaurant foyer has a gift shop stuffed with baubles and toys, sure to assume the children as you wait for a table. (But be prepared that they'll want to buy something!) The bathrooms are clean and the staff friendly.

Big Stuff Barbecue 

Cottage Grove, Oregon

Smoked meats dished up in historic downtown Cottage Grove. You can order a la carte dishes from chicken to pork sandwiches perfect for a picnic. Or take home Big Stuff's barbecue by the pound or rack for dinner at home.

Mandy's Family Restaurant

Eugene, Oregon

Mandy's is a classic family-owned burger and shake place offering inside or to go dining. There are tables outside too! Kids will enjoy the vast selection of shake flavors and ice cream treats. Burgers are a generous size, fries are tasty and breakfast is served all day.

The Flashback Grill

Springfield, Oregon

Slide into a comfy booth that takes you back in time. Remind your kids that you were once "cool", with a look back multiple decades. At The Flashback Grill, each booth is individually themed, so you may be treated to remembrances of Saturday Night Fever, Aerosmith album covers, Michael Jackson, King Kong movie posters, old newspaper and magazine covers or airplane models. Breakfast is served all day along with classic brunch cocktails and favorite lunch items from burgers to delicious salads. Entrees are named after celebrities, popular songs and other cultural references. 

Roaring Rapids Pizza Company

Springfield, Oregon

Combine pizza with a historic carousel and the kids will be thrilled! The lodge-style restaurant is on the banks of the Willamette River with picture windows and a grassy outdoor patio for good weather. Inside the restaurant is the carousel which runs every thirty minutes at no charge. There are also arcade games. Order a pitcher of beer and watch the children from your table as they play. Roaring Rapids Pizza Company is also adjacent a putt-putt golf course, so there is an entire afternoon of entertainment in one place!

Ike's Lakeside Pizza

McKenzie River, Oregon

Any road trip along the McKenzie River will be charmingly perfect when the family stops at this roadside pizza restaurant and sports bar. Stretch your legs exploring the owner's extensive The Simpsons collection including miniatures and life-sized figures of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. And yes, Ike's delicious pizza too!
