What to Do Between Races

Whether you're running, riding or cheering from the sidelines, there's plenty to do in and around Cottage Grove to make it a memorable weekend:

  • Explore Dorena Reservoir – Just east of Cottage Grove, this gorgeous lake is perfect for a relaxing afternoon of kayaking, paddleboarding or picnicking along the shore. Soak in some early summer sunshine before or after your event!

  • Sip at Local Wineries – Unwind with a glass of Oregon’s finest at nearby wineries like Sweet Cheeks Winery or Silvan Ridge Winery, both offering fantastic tastings and stunning views.

  • Visit the Historic Downtown – Stroll through Cottage Grove’s charming downtown, filled with local boutiques, cozy coffee shops and vibrant murals. Please note that 2025 spring/summer improvement projects are underway along Main Street, so some portions of downtown may be closed to traffic during construction.
