These parks typically turn on their water features for the summer season, daily between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The City of Eugene splash pads operate from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Cruise by these family-friendly water features to cool down. 

Skinner Butte Park

Everybody's favorite, Skinner Butte Park, is downtown near the Willamette River. Along with their splash pad and elaborate jungle gym structures, there is a re-created town with a school room and jailhouse. Surrounded by acres of lawn and miles of paved bike path, this is the perfect destination for larger group or family gatherings and picnics.

Near the South University Neighborhood, Fairmount Park has all the amenities for a great family afternoon. With water spigot and spray play features, kids can romp and get wet. There is playground equipment, sand, picnic facilities and basketball courts. 

Oakmont Park

Near Oakway Center, Oakmont Park is a family-friendly park with sand and spray play features plus fun playground equipment like a kiddie climbing rock.

Umso Park (Striker Field)

Umso features a playground, large field, informal amphitheater space, restrooms, a picnic shelter and spray play!

Santa Clara Park

Santa Clara Community Park was opened in 2025 and features a new spray play area, along with playground equipment, grass and paved paths.

Swimming Pools with Spray Play

If you are looking for a swimming pool environment that has spray play features for younger children and non-swimmers there are several community pools and private pools that you can visit. There are entrance fees or lodging requirements, and you will need to confirm the specific hours that spray play is operational.

  • Amazon Pool is an outdoor pool featuring grassy lawns, a sandy play area, two water slides, two shallow pools along with the spray play features.
  • Echo Hollow Pool is an indoor/outdoor pool with a splash play area, water slide and hot tub.
