Big Ten Championships 

The Big Ten Championships are heading to Eugene for the first time ever! Fresh off sweeping the indoor season, the Ducks are poised to set the standard in their first outdoor season in the Big Ten Conference. As some of the nation's top collegiate programs go head-to-head, expect intense competition and unforgettable performances. 

USTFCCCA Collegiate Athlete Hall of Fame 

Celebrate the rich history of track and field with the Collegiate Athlete Hall of Fame. This year's honorees include standout athletes who left lasting legacies in the sport. From record-breaking performances to inspirational journeys, the Hall of Fame highlights the remarkable individuals who shaped collegiate track and field history. This year’s inductee class features Oregon standout Joaquim Cruz who set the current 800-meter record at Oregon in 1984.  

50th Edition of the Prefontaine Classic 

This year's Prefontaine Classic marks its 50th edition, and special celebrations are planned to commemorate this iconic meet. Known for hosting world-class athletes, the "Pre" will showcase record chasers, Olympic hopefuls and Hayward Field legends. Don't miss this milestone edition packed with unforgettable moments. 

4th of July Week Festivities 

Eugene will be buzzing with excitement throughout the Week of July 4th with a series of events designed to engage the entire community: 

All Comers Meet (July 2): A special edition of this open-to-all event invites athletes of all ages and abilities to compete at Hayward Field. 

Night of Miles (July 3): Watch or compete as runners of all levels take on the classic mile race under the stadium lights. 

Butte to Butte (July 4): This iconic road race will energize the city as runners challenge themselves on this scenic course. 

The Prefontaine Classic caps off the week, promising an unforgettable finale to the celebration. 

USATF Outdoor Championships and USATF Para National Championships 

For the first time, you can attend the historic combination of the USATF Outdoor Championships and USATF Para National Championships from July 31 to August 3. These meets will set the teams for the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan and the World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi, India.
